Yami Gautam has been winning the internet with her simple and traditional wedding look. On June 4, the actress announced via social media that she had tied the knot with director Aditya Dhar in an intimate ceremony. The two had previously worked together on Uri: The Surgical Strike and not many were aware of their relationship. “In your light, I learn to love - Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya," the couple announced on social media.
For her wedding, Yami opted for a red saree which was embroidered with intricate silver handiwork. The beautiful saree also featured a gorgeous patti on the border. The Vicky Donor actor also went with traditional gold jewellery - a gold maang-tikka, matching gold earrings, bangles and kalire. Anupam Kher also complimented Gautam for wearing a traditional Kashmiri Atha and Dejhoor. For the wedding, Aditya Dhar went with an ivory sherwani.
